41st CCHR award in 2010 yet 43rd is in 2011 - is it just another Fiddaman delusion?

What is CCHR’s Anniversary and Human Rights Awards Banquet?

CCHR’s Anniversary and Human Rights Awards Banquet is an annual charity event honoring outstanding human rights achievements in the field of mental health reform.

Where is it held?

This year’s event will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles.

Who can attend this event and what is the event like?

Anyone who supports human rights can and should attend. The dress is cocktail attire and the event is attended by over 1,400 individuals, including legislators, human rights activists, medical professionals and celebrities. CCHR’s Anniversary and Human Rights Awards Banquet has been described as “incredible,” “inspiring,” “powerful” and “extremely informative.”

What is the schedule of events for the evening?

The night begins with a pre-event reception featuring a Live and Silent Auction, where attendees can bid on a wide range of items, from signed film and TV memorabilia to rare collectibles, designer items and jewelry, holiday getaways and celebrity events.

The Human Rights Awards Banquet kicks off with world-class entertainment, followed with awards presented to top human rights achievers by celebrities and dignitaries.

The night is capped off with an exclusive VIP after-party, where VIP ticketholders can enjoy cordials, blues and jazz in an intimate indoor-outdoor setting.

Does the event help with mental health reform?

Yes. Proceeds from the event enable CCHR to continue its worldwide efforts to educate the public on the dangers of psychiatric drugs and treatments, on their right to informed consent, and to continue its long history of helping enact legislative protections for patients and consumers.
