I am suffering with a physical impairment (osteoarthritis) and a Mental impairment (clinical depression)

I would be most grateful if someone on here could predict the outcome of an
Up and coming case I have in the employment tribunals. Also if anyone knows
Of any past cases that are similar to mine I would be most grateful if you
Could get in touch with me.

Complaint: I am suffering with a physical impairment (osteoarthritis) and a
Mental impairment (clinical depression)
and am still employed by the
Respondent but unable to perform my work as a fitter assembler. I became too
Ill to carry out my work and have been absent from work since October 1996.
Early in 1999, I became sufficiently well to perform some work. I informed
My Personnel Operation Manager of this but said that I could not do heavy
Manual work. I asked for alternative employment in any capacity. I am
Articulate and computer literate and said that I could work in an
Administrative capacity as well as any light duties job in the plant.
