Man with bilateral osteoarthritis is Corinthians football coach !!

Corinthians were formed in 1997 by Pat Gillespie and Nick Clark. Unhappy at the lack of football their respective sons were playing for Arden Forest they decided to start up their own team, thus Corinthians were born.

The name Corinthians was chosen by Nick Clark. When asked by the league secretary whilst registring the team over the telephone Nick spied a toy box with the name 'Corinthians' written on it!

Corinthians record victory came in 1998 against the now disbanded Water Orton Wanderers, where they ran out winners by 17 goals to nil.

Corinthians entered an 11- a - side tournament in Great Yarmouth in 1999. Nothing was won but a great weekend was had by all.

Our club president is Eric Foster, he can be seen most Friday's enjoying a tipple with Bob Fiddaman (coach) and Nick Clark (manager) down at the Lyndon Pub.
Two former players of Corinthians, Domonic Sutcliffe and Gary Gillespie, have recently signed new contracts for Birmingham City Youth Academy.

Coach Bob Fiddaman was once the Poetry Slam Champion of Birmingham (1998)

The 1999/00 season saw Corinthians reach the semi-finals of the League Shield only to be beaten by 2nd Division outfit Maypole Juniors by 3 -1.
