Citizens Commission on Human Rights exposed as a Scientology front - Wikileaks

http://www.wikileaks.ch/wiki/Citizens_Commission_on_Human_Rights_exposed_as_a_Scientology_front

1. Download link just released into the chat forums at: http://forums.enturbulation.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6059

2. The file contains e-mails between members of CCHR (an anti-psychiatry front group of the Church of Scientology)

3. Likely audience: anyone seeking psychological care for themselves or a loved one.

4. Visit the forum via the link above to join in the discussion of these leaked e-mails, and view the original post by the individual who leaked them. You may private message the individual there.

5. It was leaked for a number of reasons:

- Scientology denies that it is behind CCHR (which is clearly contradicted by the references in the emails)

- It shows, clearly, how Scientologists and the CCHR are deliberately manipulating the media... using false accounts and sock puppetry to skew information.

- It shows just how Machiavellian and hypocritical the CCHR is in their planning and execution of attacks against peer-reviewed medical science.

6. Yes. The CCHR's campaign of misinformation is designed specifically to derail people seeking psychiatric help, and instead funnel them toward Scientology. This nonsense, and lack of peer-reviewed treatment CCHR recommends instead (vitamins, niacin, hot saunas) is likely to harm rather than help.

Scientology warns Wikileaks over documents

Wikinews has learned that the Church of Scientology warned the documents-leaking site Wikileaks.org that they are in violation of United States copyright laws after they published several documents related to the Church. Wikileaks has no intention of complying, and states that in response, it intends to publish a thousand pages of additional Scientology materials beginning Monday.

In the letter to Wikileaks, lawyers for the Church's Religious Technology Center (RTC), which oversees the use of the their logos, writings and religious content, states that the site "placed RTC's Advanced Technology works on Wikileaks.org's website without the authorization" of the Church.

"I have a good faith belief, and in fact know for certain, that posting copies of these works through your system was not authorized by my client, any agent of my client, or the law. Please be advised that your customer's action in this regard violates United States copyright law. Accordingly, we ask for your help in removing these works immediately from your service," states the letter from Ava Paquette of Moxon & Kobrin, which was published by Wikileaks.

On March 9, 2008, Wikileaks published several documents relating to the Church's Office of Special Affairs and personal notes gathered by Frank Oliver, a former Scientologist and former member of the Church's Special Affairs office. On March 26, 2008, Wikileaks published the entire set of the Churches 'Operating Thetan Level' documents which included handwritten notes by Scientology's founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

Although the letter does not mention specific legal threats, the letter asks that Wikileaks "preserve any and all documents pertaining to this matter and this customer, including, but not limited to, logs, data entry sheets, applications -- electronic or otherwise, registration forms, billings statements or invoices, computer print-outs, disks, hard drives, etc."

Despite the letter, Wikileaks states it will not comply with the "abusive request" by the Church.

"Wikileaks will not comply with legally abusive requests from Scientology any more than Wikileaks has complied with similar demands from Swiss banks, Russian off-shore stem cell centers, former African Kleptocrats, or the Pentagon. Wikileaks will remain a place where people of the world may safely expose injustice and corruption," stated Wikileaks in a release on its website.

Wikileaks further states that, "in response to the attempted suppression, Wikileaks will release several thousand additional pages of Scientology material next week."

It's great you've been rewarded for your efforts and skills in the fight against the horrendous deceit and manipulation of big pharma.

I just wanted to add a caveat here that, as you will of course know, CCHR 'continues to be entirely controlled by and subject to policy directives issued from the Church of Scientology'.

They obscure this link in the UK by having separate websites for drawing in psychiatric abuse victims, which only includes a small link to CCHR, which only includes a small link to scientology. The latter's aim of course being, according to the current leader, "let's get rid of psychiatry, and let's bring Scientology to every man, woman and child on this planet"

I won't be surprised if my IP address now ends up on some list of Suppressive Persons.

The controlled by comment was a quote from the Wikipedia article on CCHR... it's beyond doubt that it was set up by Scientology and is run by them, surely?

Chosen All is a random nickname chosen on the spot, lighten up.

If you're gonna insult people for commenting anonymously for their own protection, then maybe you should disable anonymous commenting. No one has any real idea if names that are given are real anyway.

I never said I was anti-scientology, I was simply pointing out well known links between them and CCHR that I'm sure you agree people should be aware of so they can make up their own mind. I am, of course, anti some of their techniques and stated goals. My main concern here is the possible undermining of credibility of anti-psych work in the eyes of many out there (who, granted, may not fully appreciate the extremity and extent of the harm being caused to people by mindless psych drugging).

L Ron Hubbard Ordered the Murder of Twelve Innocent People - R2 - 45

R2-45 - interesting company Bobby likes to keep, guess he fits in real well !

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJump to: navigation, search

Not to be confused with RJ-45.

.R2-45 is a Scientology auditing process created by L. Ron Hubbard.

The process of R2-45 specifically pertains to shooting the target with a Colt .45 pistol, causing the victim's "thetan" to leave the body (exteriorization). In 1952 during a meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, Hubbard demonstrated the process of R2-45 by firing a shot at the floor.[1][2] In a lecture of 1958, Hubbard comments that "Death is not the same as clearing but there is, remember, R2-45. It's a very valid technique. A lot of people have used it before now." [3]

“ R2-45: AN ENORMOUSLY EFFECTIVE PROCESS FOR EXTERIORIZATION BUT ITS USE IS FROWNED UPON BY THIS SOCIETY AT THIS TIME. ”

—L. Ron Hubbard, The Creation of Human Ability[4]

(all caps as per the original)

While representatives of the Church of Scientology have publicly acknowledged that "Auditing Process R2-45" refers to "someone being killed and [their spirit] leaving the body", they insist that it was presented as a "jest" or "joke" by Hubbard."[2][5] In the transcript for the lecture "Exteriorization", in which Hubbard refers in passing to R2-45, a footnote refers to the process as being "used humorously".[6]

However, critics of Scientology have pointed out that Hubbard also used it in apparently non-humorous contexts. On March 6, 1968, Hubbard issued an internal memo titled "RACKET EXPOSED," in which he denounced twelve people (Peter Goodwin, Jim Stathis, Peter Knight, Mrs. Knight, Nora Goodwin, Ron Frost, Margaret Frost, Nina Collingwood, Freda Gaiman, Frank Manley, Mary Ann Taylor, and George Wateridge) as "Enemies of mankind, the planet and all life," and ordered that "Any Sea Org member contacting any of them is to use Auditing Process R2-45."[7][8] Former Scientologist Bent Corydon wrote that in late 1967 at Saint Hill, he personally received a copy of an order naming four former Scientologists as enemies and "fair game" and ordering any Sea Org member who encountered them to use R2-45.[9][10]

Paxil teen suicide leads to lifesaving lung transplant - dignified parents response “Donate Life.”

On the outside he's a well trained marathon runner but on the inside is where Kevin Shroyer draws motivation to run races like this weekend’s.

http://www2.scnow.com/news/grand-strand/2011/feb/18/marathon-runner-remembers-his-daughter-race-nears-ar-1481902/

In 1987 Kevin and his wife welcome their first born into the world - a bright eyed baby named Korinne.

“She was rambunctious, bubbly happy," Kevin said.

Korinne did well in school, had tons of friends, and was the goalie of her soccer team.

One day in 2002, she came to her parents with some concerns.

“Korinne came to her mother and I and said that she's been going through some mood swings and she would feel happy one day, sad the next day, kind of back and forth,” Kevin said.

Korinne began seeing a counselor and was recommended by a doctor to go on Paxil - an anti-depressant.

Ten days later the teen did the unexpected.

“I picked her up from school, brought her home, dropped her off and returned to work, and about an hour after that occurred she shot herself,” said Kevin.

Korinne died one week later, but in that week her parents decided to make her an organ donor. The very night of her death she saved another man's life - a man that she'd never even met.

Len Geiger was an athlete himself at one time.

Len was battling a rare and a potentially life threatening lung disease called Alpha 1.

After a successful lung transplant, Len took his first breaths with his new lungs.

“I think he's described it many ways, but it was almost like being born again,” said Kevin.

A year after the transplant Geiger and Shroyer met for the first time, and several months after that, the athlete with new lungs and the dad whose daughter provided them ran their first marathon together.

“It was emotional because I realized, you can't help but realize that this man is living and breathing and standing here beside me and we're doing a marathon together, and he's doing it all because of Korinne's lung donation to him,” said Kevin.

Hip problems prevent Geiger from running much now, but Kevin still runs marathons.

The Myrtle Beach race will be his 16th.

“Every race I run is in her memory, and the marathon, obviously being the ultimate race there is, road race there is, I can't think of any better race, any better distance to run in order to honor her memory than the marathon,” said Kevin.

Shroyer represents an organization called “Donate Life.”

The organ donation group has a website where you can donate to help them work to save lives like Len Geiger's.

Confirmation that there is a difference between Seroxat/Paxil and other SSRIs - yeah is that why they got off so easily ?

Interestingly, one SSRI, paroxetine (Paxil), retains its normal powerful action on the transporter, revealing that — at a molecular level — different antidepressants interact with the transporter in different ways,” Blakely said.

The researchers are now evaluating chronic administration of SSRIs to determine how much the transporter contributes to the more clinically relevant, delayed effects of these drugs, as well as for the side effects experience with antidepressant medications.

Abstract

Serotonin [i.e., 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT)]–targeted antidepressants are in wide use for the treatment of mood disorders, although many patients do not show a response or experience unpleasant side effects. Psychostimulants, such as cocaine and 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (i.e., “ecstasy”), also impact 5-HT signaling. To help dissect the contribution of 5-HT signaling to the actions of these and other agents, we developed transgenic mice in which high-affinity recognition of multiple antidepressants and cocaine is eliminated. Our animals possess a modified copy of the 5-HT transporter (i.e., SERT, slc6a4) that bears a single amino acid substitution, I172M, proximal to the 5-HT binding site. Although the M172 substitution does not impact the recognition of 5-HT, this mutation disrupts high-affinity binding of many competitive antagonists in transfected cells. Here, we demonstrate that, in M172 knock-in mice, basal SERT protein levels, 5-HT transport rates, and 5-HT levels are normal. However, SERT M172 mice display a substantial loss of sensitivity to the selective 5-HT reuptake inhibitors fluoxetine and citalopram, as well as to cocaine. Through a series of biochemical, electrophysiological, and behavioral assays, we demonstrate the unique properties of this model and establish directly that SERT is the sole protein responsible for selective 5-HT reuptake inhibitor-mediated alterations in 5-HT clearance, in 5-HT1A autoreceptor modulation of raphe neuron firing, and in behaviors used to predict the utility of antidepressants.

This is a repost of my original message, which includes two iterations of the "Scientology Shyster's List" as well as every other non-redundant mention of the crime cult lawyer George W. "Skip" Murgatroyd III, the cocksucking Scientology crime cult legal whore who threatened lawsuits against people who discussed his extensive history with the crime cult of Scientology, as well as his bullshit lawsuits on behalf of the crime cult of Scientology, as well as how he was cited for ambulance-chasing for exercising ethics typical of a Scientology crime cultist in his legal practice. The Indiana Bar penalized Murgatroyd for his illegal ambulance-chasing and solicitation of clients within the state of Indiana. He is not the only Scientology crime cultist lawyer sanctioned for blatant ambulance-chasing. John Coale, husband of Greta van Susteren, also shares this dubious honor.

Needless to say, lawsuit threats aside, the cultist is obviously a cultist, as he is a Patron of the IAS, meaning he has not only purchased a lifetime membership in the crime cult group the "International Association of Scientologists" but has in addition thrown away $40,000 for absolutely nothing so he can be listed in inscrutably tiny print in issues of crime cult magazine Impact. I don't know who this crime cult fuckup thought he was fooling by denying to be a member of the Mafia cult of Scientology, or if he is responsible for it disappearing from Google groups, but the crime cultist can be absolutely certain the information will continue to be out there, whatever insane lies he tells.

I have arranged a private one-hour luncheon with Ron Paul on 11/28 in St.

Pete when he will be in town for the CNN/YouTube Republican debate.

This luncheon is reserved for $1000+ donors to Ron Paul's presidential

campaign. 15 people so far have paid and confirmed and will have the honor

and pleasure of having lunch and communicating with Ron Paul directly.

There is room for more.

Please click on this link to watch this short, but incredible CNN news

segment on Ron Paul. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG2PUZoukfA

He deserves our support, he's the only sane choice as far as I'm concerned.

His message echoes the intentions of America's founding fathers and he is

inspiring a new generation of Americans.

He is the sponsor of the Parental Consent bill in Congress and wants to make

it against the law to use federal dollars to mental health screen Americans.

He is pro-constitution and pro-freedom. He is a true patriot. He is in

valence. He 's an ally of CCHR and our group.

I hope, after seeing the video clip above, that you agree that RP's message

should be broadly known and supported. If yes, I'm asking you to donate to

Ron Paul's campaign and join us at our private luncheon.

Please let me know either way....

HIBBARD HAS LED CITY IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Clearwater voters expect city elections in March, but when they go to the

polls for the Jan. 29 presidential preference primary, they will find they

need to choose a mayor and make decisions on six city charter amendments.

Two of Clearwater's best-known politicians are facing off in the mayor's

race. Frank Hibbard, the current mayor, would like a second three-year term.

Rita Garvey, who was mayor from 1987 to 1999, is asking to return.

Hibbard, 40, served on the City Council from 2002 to 2005 and became mayor

in 2005 when no one filed to run against him. A married father of two

college-age children, Hibbard is a financial adviser and vice president at

an investment firm. He has lived in Clearwater 29 years.

Garvey, 62, was first elected in 1980 and served as a city commissioner

until being elected mayor in 1987. She volunteers as coordinator of the

Garvey has lived in Clearwater 38 years.

This is a pivotal election, offering Clearwater residents the choice of

looking to the future or returning to the past. Frank Hibbard has provided

vibrant, forward-looking leadership as mayor. Garvey's record as mayor was

mixed, and since she left office, she has not followed city business enough

to remain well informed.

The Times recommends that residents give Hibbard their vote.

Though he was young and had only three years in city government under his

belt when he became mayor, Hibbard had ambitions for Clearwater. He wanted

the stagnation that had plagued Clearwater during the '90s to end. He wanted

Clearwater Beach revitalized with modern amenities to support the city's

vital tourism industry. He wanted new people living in downtown to help

spark a renaissance there. He hoped to get neighborhoods some things they

needed, such as traffic calming.

Hibbard takes the job of mayor extremely seriously and spends many hours at

it, despite having another full-time job. While Garvey has always called

Clearwater a small town and approached the mayor's job from that folksy

perspective, Hibbard knows Clearwater is the second-largest city in the most

densely populated county in Florida, and therefore a place that needs

hands-on leadership. He has helped make Clearwater a player in the Tampa Bay

region.

Because of his leadership skills, he has been tapped for other roles,

including president of the Pinellas Mayors Council, chairman of the county

Metropolitan Planning Organization, and board member of the Florida League

of Mayors and the Tampa Bay Partnership. His skills and his interest in

solving traffic problems resulted in an appointment to the board of the

Tampa Bay Area Regional Transit Authority, a new group wrestling with how to

bring modern mass transit to west central Florida.

While Hibbard has been mayor, the city government has been stable and new

development has occurred. Condominium towers are under construction

downtown. New libraries are open downtown and in North Greenwood. Two

neighborhoods have new recreation centers. The Glen Oaks Park project was

completed to help divert stormwater that previously flooded homes and

streets. City officials finally won voters' approval for a boat slip project

at Coachman Park.

The first new hotel built on Clearwater Beach in 20 years was opened and

other hotel projects are in the pipeline. Beach Walk is already partially

built, and once finished, will provide a great public amenity for walkers,

skaters, bicyclists or those who just want to enjoy a meal at a sidewalk

cafe.

When he was first elected mayor, Hibbard could not have guessed that a bust

in the housing market, a faltering economy and state tax reform soon would

challenge officials at all levels of government. When it happened, the

Clearwater City Council was one of the first in Pinellas to implement

spending controls and propose cuts. The property tax rate was reduced almost

20 percent over the past two years.

While Hibbard has been grappling with the growing complexities of governing,

Garvey, by her own admission, has not been paying attention. Garvey says she

decided to run for mayor at the last minute when it appeared no one else

would challenge Hibbard.

It is important for voters to remember Garvey's last months in office. On

Nov. 5, 1998, Garvey was on her way to City Hall to preside over an

important meeting at which city commissioners would vote on a plan to build

a roundabout and massive fountain at the entrance to Clearwater Beach. She

crashed her car into a parked van, walked back home and had her husband

drive her to City Hall.

Two weeks later, police announced that she was being charged with leaving

the scene of an accident and driving under the influence. Tests placed her

blood alcohol level at 0.335, more than four times the level at which

Florida presumes drivers are impaired. Garvey announced that she was an

alcoholic - an admission that followed several months of unusual behavior by

Garvey at City Commission meetings.

Garvey lost her bid for re-election in March 1999 to Brian Aungst. She also

lost a campaign for a commission seat in 2001 - a year in which she now says

she relapsed and sought counseling again for her alcohol problem. It is not

clear how much Garvey drinks today.

Garvey's decision to run again has reopened public discussion about both her

alcoholism and her record as a city official. Some of those supporting

Garvey recall her tenure with nostalgia. In the role of small-town mayor,

she popped up at pot lucks, neighborhood meetings and ribbon cuttings.

Commissions on which she served built branch libraries, approved a new

bridge to Clearwater Beach, instituted a strict sign code and planted

flowers around town.

However, commissions on which Garvey served also created the costly

Harborview Center, approved new city office buildings that were too small

and whose construction was bungled, and ignored the decline of Clearwater

Beach until the tourist area became dilapidated.

Hibbard, on the other hand, is determined to preserve a high quality of life

for Clearwater residents - a determination reflected in the successes of his

first term - and he has several issues he wants to continue working on in a

second term. He is still trying to find a developer who will build a movie

theater in the city. He and other officials are meeting with landowners as

they continue the difficult task of finding affordable land for a parking

garage on Clearwater Beach. While there may be fewer city projects in the

years ahead, Hibbard believes his financial background will be useful as the

city tries to find creative ways to finance quality-of-life projects in a

tax-cutting era.

Hibbard has worked hard and accomplished much, and done it with dignity and

intelligence. He is a mayor for the future, not a mayor from the past.

The Times strongly recommends a vote for Frank Hibbard for mayor.

Fiddaman dined with Baum Hedlund Attorneys - no awards sought for this blog, but we will expose their dark history !

You see, CCHR and I are alike in as much that we have a pretty 'bang on' sense of humour. What could piss off GlaxoSmithKline more than Bob Fiddaman getting an award for basically highlighting their dark history? With a wry smile someone at CCHR thought it would be highly entertaining to sit me around a table with the office of Baum Hedlund Attorneys. A classic two finger salute to the Paxil/Seroxat Pushers

I feel privileged to sit at the very same table as the Baum gang, even more privileged to visit their offices and to share lunch and dinner with them. Here we have a law firm that do what they do because they don't like what they see. It's not about money for Baum, it's about the victims.

A show of solidarity in the fight against the drugging of children.

A feeling of an intense connection with those you meet.

That was the Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles on Saturday 12th February as the Citizens Commission on Human Rights [CCHR] hosted their 43rd annual award ceremony - count them folks, that's 43.

I learned last year that I had been chosen to receive an award at this years event, along with two far more worthy winners than I, in Amy Philo and Celeste Steubing.

It's pretty difficult, even for the likes of me, to put into words of how proud I was to be amongst such strong advocates. To have ones work recognized by the biggest bad ass movement out there is very humbling. Uplifting isn't a word I would normally use for an event that highlights death and family destruction, in this instance I can think of no better description.

I have met so many wonderful people, each with their own sad stories to tell, each with hearts full of kindness, love and camaraderie. CCHR are without a shadow of a doubt the masters of creating awareness. A room with 1200 people was evidence of that, as were the tears of finally realising that no parent has to suffer the death of their child to psychiatric drugs alone.

Here we have an organisation who pretty much grab this sick and twisted industry by the bollocks and don't let go until they get a result.

I'm scratching my head hard here to think of another organisation, that gives power to the people, who can boast the achievements that CCHR can.

Okay, I don't want to sound like I'm sticking my tongue down the back of their trousers or in the LA Hubs instance, skirts - they pretty much know how I feel about them. I love them to bits for what they have done...and what they continue to do.

I got to meet many familiar names I had only previously seen via the medium of blogs/websites, even met new faces whom are now firm friends.

Folk from all over the world attended this years event, Brits, Canadians, Americans, Japanese... many more.

A classic two finger salute to the Paxil/Seroxat Pushers.

The event was a red carpet affair complete with tuxedos and stunning frocks, I opted for the tux before anyone shouts "Fid is a transvestite!"

I am deeply honoured to be recognised by the whoop ass machine that is CCHR. I am deeply humbled to share in the experiences of the mothers I met, Celeste, Maria, Sheila, Christian, Amy, Mathy, each with heart-wrenching stories, each with the courage and strength to keep on fighting against the very same people that caused them heartache.

I feel privileged to sit at the very same table as the Baum gang, even more privileged to visit their offices and to share lunch and dinner with them. Here we have a law firm that do what they do because they don't like what they see. It's not about money for Baum, it's about the victims.

I've been hugged by a zillion people, chaperoned around Hollywood, been treated like a movie star because there's a bunch of people across the pond who can actually see what I have been up against during my time writing this blog. Special thanks to the British actor, Hal Ozsan, who presented me with my award with a very touching introduction.

Watch this space folks - I'm about to embark on a journey that will see a whole bunch of us kick some New Zealand psych's ass into the middle of next week, a Prozac pusher with no empathy and one who has a complete disdain for human life. I'm with the sisterhood on this one.
